It's just... Being a vigilante and doing good, it's not all that different from those of us taking bounties. Simply because you were more...vocal, and said what you thought doesn't mean it was bad. Or wrong. Or anything of the sort.

If anything, people should be glad. From what I've gathered, um, it seems like the Everglades are already a lot safer. Well, compared to where they were earlier.

[She sighs.] But I also know a lot of people... They don't usually look at it that way. But I still think they over-reacted.

I confess that act was a naughty one; I meant to frighten, owing to the nature of Everglade's barrier. Seems to have done the trick, with the hysteria the 'vigilante' got.

I also confess that I'm rather pleased with the result the false article got. Drawing attention was another one of my goals, and that worked out marvelously. So many altruists are gathering there, and it really needs them. I know ends don't justify means, but if they ever did, it would be now.

Goodness, I'm so happy and you agree with me so much, if I told about you they'd probably think I was making you up. Well! I should be glad to meet the girl I'm making up face-to-face sometime; I'm sure she's very agreeable.

The nature of Everglade's barrier..? [This is new information she hadn't heard before.] So... It's fueled by fear?

Um, anyway... No, the ends don't justify the means. But your means... They weren't bad, either. Just scaring and needling people, it's not bad. Plus, you didn't actually hurt anyone that wasn't a bounty, right? [Right??

And then she realizes that they actually haven't met in person yet. An overlook on her part, especially given the amount of people she's met recently.]

Horror and revulsion, or maybe something more numinous, like say, reverence and awe? I wish the wording were more clear. Hopefully whatever this mess was provided the right kind. Oh! Don't be mistaken; I didn't write that article. Don't think I'd have the stomach, not even in satire. But given its effects, I'm not keen on speaking against it either. That'd afford too much dignity for too little result; who believes the accused claiming their own innocence?

Heh, no, that was a bit of mischief. There are probably better ways to raise awareness, but you've my thanks nonetheless for taking my side. It's very comforting.

Agreed! How about one of those touristy-locations? I've been meaning to go, but resisted the temptation nobly waiting for another to share the sights with.

That... Hm. [Hinata couldn't really advocate for going around putting different people through different types of fear just for the sake of knowledge. But at the same time, any knowledge about the nature of this world should be welcome...]

Trying to discover the type of fear is... It's a good thing to try and find out, but... It's also not the best idea.

And I... I wouldn't be opposed to seeing some of them? I admit... I haven't exactly been to anything really touristy either. But it would be fun to go with another person.

Agreed--again--though it's not the sort of thing one can discover in the main. Far too macroscopic.

Well, since we're on the subject of Everglade, how about the Crystal Cave? In the daytime, of course.

I hadn't even heard of such a place... So, yes. A daytime trip to it sounds like it would be lovely.

[Also, with a name like that, how could anything go wrong? In her mind, at least.]
